Very dark brown almost black body. No light from the beer light passes thru. Nice tall thick creamy head. It slowly dissipates leaving just a little lacing.
Smells good, smells like sweet molasses, hint of apple brandy, oak & vanilla.
Taste is well balanced: apple brandy, toffee maybe some chocolate, and maple Whiskey. a touch of oak and vanilla on the finish. This beer is smooth and sweet. The alcohol is well buried.
Feel is smooth and on the thick side.
