draft pour into a snifter. pours a slightly hazy orange with two fingers of soapy white foam head. aromas of scented woods, wild flowers, even fruity hops but i honestly think that’s the first two components working together. it’s very herbal and quite outdoorsy on the nose. i dig it. taste doesn’t white translate as it has an almost brett-like flavor on the finish. dry and even slightly leathery. it’s not as drinkable to me as the nose would suggest. medium mouthfeel. a bit watery. this one was interesting. kind of had lower expectations based on the description but it’s really executed quite well it’s just a kind of odd flavor profile and ingredient list.
