I had this beer on tap in a Pilsner glass at the Montreal airport. The name of this beer is “Blonde”. but the website confirms this is a lager.
Appearance: pale golden hue with a clear body and strong effervescence. Head poured several fingers of frothy white foam, which leaves a good lace on the glass as it dissipates.
Smell: lightly malty, with a bit of yeastiness. It’s relatively dry, and overall, pretty bland even for the style.
Taste: dry malt with a bit of yeastiness. It’s not actively bad, but there’s really not much interesting going on here.
Mouthfeel: light body with a moderate carbonation and not much creaminess.
Overall: eh. It’s better than nothing, but not much better.
