mostly fine and decently executed, but for me a little safe, the most generic of the beers in here, and while drinkable and light and well hopped, it just doesnt seem inspired or inspiring, the keep the bitterness low which i guess makes it more widely appealing to the less craft inclined crowd, but is that really necessary, we already have their blonde for that, was hoping for some more robustness here. that said, there are some nice features, the ferment is clean and their house yeast is not flavorless so there is a little more to it than is trendy, but its dry too thankfully which makes it easy going. the hop profile is also nice, i just could use a little more of it, organic piney woodsy northwestern dankness, simcoe style but i am not sure what they use, mellow citrus, sappy sweetness, real basic pale malt base, minerals in the water, its cohesive and approachable for sure, but for me maybe more of a pale ale than a true ipa. i like the quality, and that should not be overlooked across the board here. if you like hoppy beer of any persuasion at all, this should be agreeable to you, for me it was tasty and fresh and well made but a little too mild mannered to be memorable. these guys are off to a good start though, no doubt.
