Pours a hazy deep gold; tight white head with excellent Retention, heavy ring, band of soapy lacing. Peach and lemon nose. Taste follows with some pineapple as the beer warms. Medium minus body; moderate minus carbonation; no astringency. An outstanding hazy light; juicy fruit finish.

9/21/24 - (Can - Home) (Chicago, IL) Can Notes: Obtained via a 7/19/24 trade with David, @doctorzombies on Beer Advocate. Refrigerated since trade completion. 16 oz packaged 6/12/24. 7.5% ABV Hazy IPA. Hazy India Pale Ale. Hazy, Juicy, Refreshing. Double-Dry Hopped with Galaxy, Citra and Mosaic. This well-balanced New England-style IPA will blast your tastebuds to orbit. Brewed and canned by Savage Craft Ale Works, 430 Center Street, West Columbia, South Carolina.
Appearance: Slow poured about 2/3 of the can into a shaker pint glass, yielding an orange creamsicle yellow very hazy base, creamy bright white generous head that after a few minutes leaves a thicl rich cover over the base and generous clumpy lacing in it's wake. 4.25
Aroma: Initial reaction after opening the can was a strong SweeTART blend of four flavors, landing on an enticing in order of strength citrus, pineapple and dank pine. Sweet for sure, and strong. 4.0
Taste: Taste much more restrained, citrus, grapefruit and dank pine with a good dollop of bitterness, but still a bit sweet overall. Taste strength above medium, nice flavor. 4.0
Mouthfeel: More balanced in terms of a nice bitter backbone to help contain, but not match or surpass the sweet hop flavors. Drinks about ABV, starts to kick in fully during the second half. Creamy near full body, faint gentle carbonation, nice and easy drinking citrus pine finish. Well done. 4.25
Overall: This beer held up well under my beer backlog, delivering a flavor and feel I enjoy 3 months after canning. All aspects suit the style, really enjoying the fact the hops balanced out what i suspected may be a very sweet beer based on my pre drinking aroma from Go! when I cracked open the can. Another solid, thoughtful selection by David, he never lets me down. Glad I have another from this brewery and David slated to enjoy tomorrow. 4.25

Overall an enjoyable beer, savage craft has never truly let me down!
L: poured can into a standard pint glass. About 1.5” head of fine bubbles. Dissipated quickly and left a lacey haze on top. Dark yellow/ very light caramel color and a good amount of fine white particulate suspended
S: very heavy cannabis, dank, piney smell immediately after pour. This went away quickly and after that I didn’t get much other than a “juicy” fruit smell
T: very similar to the smell. Very dank while cold and immediately after pouring. Piney, and a nice bitterness. After warming slightly it still has a nice bitterness but gives way to a lot more sweet fruit, mostly mango
F: very buttery, smooth, slight carbonation “bite” but smooth after that
Overall an enjoyable beer! Wouldn’t go super far out of my way looking for this specific one for my tastes but it was worth grabbing and would definitely get again!

Not entirely hazy burnt yellow, it's almost as though chill hazed under a very puffy muffin top white head settling to a persistently thick foam leaving spongy lacing.
Good and dankly juicy, it's a little cannabic up front with mango in the middle and touches of shortbread far in the background behind a slight evergreen bite.
The medium body has a fluffy carbonation and finishes semi-dry, actually exhaling floral guava qualities.
