Fun, trendy nano brewery with some good tasting beer. It's quite popular. We arrived right at opening time, after walking down from Sacre Couer, and the place filled up quickly. The interior of the place and their cans feature some playful art. They offer tasty snacks as well.

Cute little brewery in the shadow of Sacre Coeur, right by a set of stairs actually. Cheery, hip, and young in vibe. Beer is almost all hoppy, again modern us feel. Service is kind an friendly, but very slow. My French was way worse than their English, but they still were happy to talk beer with me through it. Small and charming in a new way

I stumbled over Patoche while on vacation, 2 weeks after they opened. It sits in the heart of Montmartre, a bustling vibrant art district of cafes, eateries and unique shops. I was immediately drawn in by the American microbrew taproom vibe, a welcome departure from the ubiquitous traditional eateries on every corner. The interior has a bright, open minimalist feel with custom modern furnishings. Music was upbeat but unobtrusive enough to hold a conversation, and the clientele was friendly and diverse.
The owners, Alex and Hugo, were very friendly and welcoming, despite being very busy. Both knowledgeable and passionate about brewing, they were clearly excited about bringing craft beers to the neighborhood. At the time of my visit, they were still working on a few finishing touches, and their first batches had yet to be tapped. However they carried a very nice selection from local brewers. The Alouette session IPA was my personal favorite, but the Cerberus triple, Salamandra saison and Cosmic Pils were also great. They also carry hard lemonade and kombucha for the non-beer drinkers.
All in all, Patoche is a great, unique place to quench your thirst after a day of sightseeing in Montmartre.

Visit on June 25th.
Great vibe. Wonderful enthusiasm for brewing. Alex was very helpful and willing to chat and recommend local beers. Sadly, I was there before they were pouring their own. But not a loss. They were pouring, and providing plenty of information about, local Parisian breweries: Les Georges Brassins, Les Bieres de Belleville, Brasserie de l'Etre, Brasserie Toussaint, and Brasserie du Grand Paris. He even introduced me to the brewer of Smash, a Belgian still pale ale, when he saw him walk in.
Great little place. Give it a try. I would love to hear about their beers.
