Handsome coppery amber with abundant foam in the Rodenbach goblet. Lovely nutty and musty aroma that seems so classically British to me. Lively and substantial mouthfeel with plenty of carbonation. Malty flavor with grainy and caramel notes. Some modest bitterness. Nutty and roasted taste is the nice feature, as well as the restrained use of hops. I don't know if this if more authentic or not but it's a good recipe for a winter brew that is not overly strong. From the 32 oz crowler filled at the brewery bar.
