A: Pours dark brown/black with some reddish highlights. A small beige head forms and recedes to nothing quickly.
S: A fairly neutral aroma of cereal grains, and light roasted aromas.
T: Grainy up front and the roasted malt character is a bit more pronounced. Light coffee and chocolate.
M/O: A lighter body, than even the ABV would suggest. Moderate carbonation and becomes oddly chalky. While not my favorite version of the style, perfectly fine to drink.
An OK Black Lager that is fairly basic and light. Which is far from bad, but just not a lot of nuance or character here. Perfectly OK.
