Canned on 11/3/2023; consumed on 1/2/2024
Pours an opaque, milky lemon-gold hue capped with multiple fingers of cascading, eggshell-white foam; solid head retention leaves a spotty few islands of chunky cap, a modest collar, and numerous rings of soapy lacing coating the walls of the glass.
Aromas of boggy lime phase through overripe mango as an amalgam of papaya, guava, and lemon sorbet comprise the tropical perfume building across the bouquet.
Taste offers guava sorbet accented with a tinge of mossy resins upfront, with boggy lime contrasted with orange Starbursts and grapefruit peel over the mid-palate yielding to notes of mango popsicle, passionfruit zest, and ripe jackfruit on the back end of the profile.
Mouthfeel brings a medium body and a moderate, fluffy spritz of carbonation, dispersing a soft prickle into a juicy gloss over the mid-palate and settling to a semi-creamy finish.
Tropical juice and a leveling dank; a loaded expression generous in both hoppy twang and calming resins make for a well-executed NETIPA.
