Drunk in June 2022. The beer is listed as a Mexican Lager on Untappd but that option is not available here.
Look: very clear light yellow/orange. Evident carbonation. No head at all (that which was quickly dissipated).
Smell: very clean and neutral. Some light water-crackery notes.
Taste: as with the aroma it's a very clean and well-crafted beer. Slightly fruity, with citrus notes. There's lime that becomes much more prevalent as the beer warms. Maybe a bit of wood. Light to medium bitterness. Sweet, tangy aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Light to medium carbonation but leaves a long-lasting carbonic prickle in the throat. Very beer-like...
Overall. This is what Corona would taste like if it was a decent beer. It's an enjoyable, eminently smashable lager. I could drink many of these in a session.
Cheers!
