Alright light industrial lager, you've had quite a dynasty among the tailgating contingency. But now there's a new taste in town and there's a rivalry a'brewin'.
Pouring a near-bright golden straw hue, Tailgate come to Waco with a grainy sweet scent with hints of orchard fruit and a pep of citrus and floral hops as its light and pleasant scent rises above its froth. Sweet with fresh bread and a hint of cereal allows a malty presence to show itself early and often.
What started floral now trends fruity with apple and lemon as the hybrid beer splashes the middle palate. A rise of peppery hops bring notions of citrus peel, lemongrass and peppery grasses as the fruitiness quickly falls off and the finish looms.
Medium-light, crisp and refreshing, the Kolsch-style beer should be a fan favorite among the light lager crowd as its finishes briskly dry and with a kiss of cereal sweetness persisting in a short aftertaste.

Clear straw yellow in color with small forced head. Nose is fruity, but only slightly. Taste was initially tart, that gave way to a quick malt taste.
