Can from Uptown Market
A clear light yellow with a dense, white head with excellent retention and lacing. The nose is fruity and floral with melony grapefruit, in an old- world way, with honey, dough and a little bread. A touch doughy and with a slightly rough grainy edge that's very flavorful. The palate opens clean, slightly doughy with a moderate hop character, more than I'm used to for the style, but it works. The doughy, clean, mildly dusty malt character is nice. Warmer, estery, almost spicy fermentation notes are present. Clean, crisp, bitter, refreshing finish with moderate carbonation. Excellent.
