A double dry-hopped West Coast IPA brewed for Bottleworks' 25th anniversary
From the Living Häus Beer Co. Instagram account: Patty, named after Verns mother, is a radical West Coast IPA with a focus on extremely tropical hops and maybe a little bit of dankness to balance it out. We have a simple grain bill of Best pilsner malt that gives this beer just enough body to compete with this intensely hoppy beer. Then we blended classic American hops like Citra and Columbus for a base of citrusy and dank resiny notes. We paired that with topical New Zealand hops like Nectaron and Waimea for big bursts of guava, pineapple and mango skin in the nose.
