Look: Pours light yellow and nearly clear with a foamy white head that pillows up and holds well, leaving webs of lacing clung to the rim
Aroma: Grapefruit, oranges, lemon-lime zest, strawberries, some peach, wet hop cones, and kumquats
Taste: Opens up with wet hop cones and strawberries that hold for a quick second before the citrus assault begins. Pithy grapefruit, orange flesh and peel, lemons, limes, kumquats, and tangerines all in the mix and these dance on the palate, continuing to deepen through the close
Mouthfeel: Full, lightly slick, clean, medium-high carbonation, and lightly dry on the finish
Overall: This is some good stuff. I love FH Citra beers and my first fresh hop beer from these folks was awesome so I was pumped to try this, even at almost a month old. Still plenty of FH character and the Citra is on full display throughout. Tasty, well-made, and recommended – I bet this was awesome when it was fresh

My first LH beer. Pours a clear golden amber with plenty of foam in the goblet. Lovely lemon and melon aroma. The taste is fruity and lush with a whole variety of flavors-- orange, green melon, lemon, and even a distinct hint of papaya. Orange/banana juice? Smooth and tangy with plenty of carbonation. This is really tasty and definitely one of my favorite fresh hop brews of the year. From the 16 oz can purchased at Bridge and Tunnel Bottleshop in Astoria. Dated 09/18/2024.
