Canned Jan 2nd. Pour is midnight dark with a small, tight head. Nose is light, catching some expresso notes along with vanilla and dark chocolate. Warming up a bit, taste is dry, very light bitterness and layers of flavors. Besides the coffee and vanilla, there's a touch of roasted grains. Just 4.8% ABV.
Overall, the stout is good, being light on the smooth feel of oatmeal with pleasant but muted flavors.
