Lucia, our fresh hop Hazy IPA was brewed with fresh hop Simcoe from @colemanagriculture
This beer was made with our friend Lucian of @ultima_brewery from Romania. He has travelled all this way to join us today and he would love to meet all of you. Well, ok, maybe just some of you. Come down from 12pm to 6pm today to say hello and learn about his brewery and our collab!
We used a simple pilsner base malt and then added in heaps of malted and flaked wheat, chit malt and flaked oats for a soft and light mouthfeel. Then we soaked these fresh Simcoe hops with hot wort before fermenting and adding a small dry hop of more Simcoe hops. This gives us a wonderful lemon lime aroma with slightly grassy undertones. Fruit punch and citrus flavors are found through out this beer.
Lucia is named after Lucians grandmother and we are honored to be able to share this beer with you all.
