OCTOBER 2023 at the EurHop 2023 festival. Wheat-based beer aged in red wine barrels from Trentino Alto Adige and with the addition of apricot pieces during the maturation phase. Excellent (but less elegant than the SPACCARELLA 2022 by Maestri del Sannio, again a wild fermentation with apricots tasted at the festival), the acid note is much more evident, even the wood gives a less soft and more "rancid" contribution (in the positive sense... fracic wood).
Moderate acidity, but with the woody notes it covers a bit the taste of the apricots which is still noticeable and pleasant even if it fades/is covered rather quickly.
A little more astringent and less fruity, still a very high level product.
