Poured from a bottle at fridge temp. Oh boy, this had a bit of an explosion upon opening. Lost a bit and prevented a big mess. OK, pours a nice opaque dark orange with tons of white head. The nose is grapefruit peel, oranges, herbal tea, cooked carrots, a barnyard funk, and maybe a hint of clove oil.
The taste is really nice. Funky and a tad sour. Lemons, bread, wet leather, grassy/earthy note, hay, and unripe plums. A touch of solvent is there as well. This is super intense and flavorful. A lot going on.
The mouthfeel is fairly light and dry. The aftertaste is a mix of bitter and sweet.
