On tap at the brewery, served in a Nonic pint glass.
Look: Golden, with a 1/2” head that dissipated pretty quickly and left adequate finely-bubbled lacing.
Nose: A little sourness and a little floral.
Attack: Pure and strong sweet malt — this is excellent!
Finish: Though it took a little while to emerge, near perfect bitterness to balance.
Mouthfeel: Medium heavy, adequate carbonation.
Overall: Though the sourness in the nose worried me at first, the flavor more than made up for it. I believe this is the most flavorful Festbier I’ve had all season.
