On tap at the brewery, served in a tall wheat beer glass.
Look: Cloudy gold, with a 1” white head that dissipated a bit quickly and left minimal lacing.
Nose: Floral and spice, with a hint of fresh fruit.
Attack: Gentle wheat, orange with a hint of banana.
Finish: Very slight bitterness, appropriate to style.
Mouthfeel: Medium, adequate carbonation.
Overall: I wasn’t quite sure whether to categorize this as a Hefeweizen or a Belgian Wit, but it’s closer to a Hefe. A very drinkable offering, nice effect with the blood orange addition.
