Very aromatic with lemon, cucumber, and grapefruit. Flavors of something like grapes, lime peel, and that green honeydew melon taste. Just slightly sweet, but malty enough to add to the pleasure. This is described as a New Zealand IPA, and in fact the hops are Nelson, Riwaka, and Southern Cross. It does actually have a distinctive fruity flavor that I happen to like. Very drinkable as well as flavorful, with moderate bitterness and a tangy finish. I think I will look for more of this. From the 16 oz can purchased at BottleCraft in Liberty Station. Not dated.

Taking flight like the Orwell brothers? Nah. Taking Flight like Buzz Aldrin cruising to the moon? Nope. Taking flight like Felix Bumgarner parachuting from the stratosphere? Not even. But that’s ok. This offering is nothing special, but it’s also not bad by any means. Actually, it’s pretty fair. Not some podunk city fair, buts let’s go with Raul’s hometown, the Orange County Fair. Ya, Seal performed there once.
