Nearly clear yellow brew with abundant foam in the Duvel nonic. Quite aromatic with spice and malt. This is the textbook list of flavors, the banana, the clove, the sweet cereal. All quite strong, however, and the spice is really not to be endured for long. Still it's a flavorful gulp as long as you don't linger over the details of the grainy bitter aftertaste threatening to block the esophagus. When your boy failed math freshman year of high school, he had to do that summer school stuff. And I remember as a “treat” one day, we watched a movie (but it had to be “educational”). Anyway, we were shown some borefest called, “Stand and Deliver.” And what Raul is trying to get at here is that this beer does not “stand,” nor “deliver.” In reality, I’m sure grandpa’s “cough syrup” has more kick.

I don’t trust anyone that doesn’t have hand soap in their bathroom.
