Had on tap at North Park Beer /Bankers Hill.
Really nice BA stout in a sweet dessert style.
Beautiful full head deep dark pour. Extraordinarily rich scents and aroma deeply complex with dark malts, vanilla, coconut and roasty sweetness. All jumped in and afforded a standout preface for drinking.
Taste mirrored if maybe a bit too sweet for most of the glass. No problem just lent itself to categorizing as a sweeter dessert brew. But then as beer warmed and ended there was a rich woody leathery taste that cut the sweetness and brought a delicious complexity.
FWIW… last few sips were almost a different brew. And it was great.
Body was silky but not heavy. Not syrupy. Very easy sipper.
Overall, my initial reaction was this was a very good BAIS. But last third of glass just evolved with warming and air. Then it was happily an extremely interesting and delicious brew. Really a standout!
