Poured from a bottle at fridge temp. Pours black (very thick) with a thin layer of brown head. The nose is vanilla, maple, toffee, chocolate, marshmallow, and a hint of strawberry ice cream.
The taste is really smooth. Sweet and bitter, with a boozy presence. The vanilla is really nicely done here, and I definitely pick up the pistachios on the taste. The bourbon is present but not dominant.
The mouthfeel is insane. Super thick and creamy.

Sweet milk chocolate, amaretto nuttiness, floral vanilla, and a nice bourbon barrel heat nose on this one! Taste follows with those nutty amaretto vibes upfront...and then some chocolate, and a vanilla-bourbon barrel finish. The barrel here is there, but not overpowering. It is a touch thinner than I like my stouts, but it is very well-balanced and really good!
