Clear golden amber brew with a tall pile of foam in the Aventinus Weizenbier glass. Aromatic with leafy greens and a whiff of the Purina Chow factory in Denver. Warm and grainy taste is quite pleasant from the first sip. I guess this is a "modern" style wheat because of all the hops. Tastes of resins and even a bit dank. A touch of pine to go with the sweet malt. Overall this is quite interesting, and more like a Pilsner in some ways. Easy to drink but catches the attention with the hoppy aromatics. Mild bitter aftertaste, but unusual in a wheat beer. From the 16 oz can purchased at O'Shea Brewing. Dated 08/07/24.
