Sweet dulce de leche/caramel, bran cereal malty, dried figs/Fig Newton's, and a balanced bourbon barrel boozy nose on this one! Taste follows exactly with a smooth bourbon barrel finish. As it warms, the bourbon barrel booziness becomes more prominent, but not to the point of dominating the palate. This is quality made and well done! Fantastic!

Had on tap. Very dark mostly opaque brown body with a tan collar. Smell has the barley and earth up front in a rewarding way, followed by the bourbon and munich malts with caramel afteraromas, slight cocoa and dark oak. Taste is SO much sweeter, malt completely overrun the forces of barley, earth, and wood, bourbon is backing this takeover naturally. Feel is thicker but not at all syrupy, dryness helps here, barrel character is there but not too deep
