Pours an unfiltered, cloudy yellow color with a fluffy white head that provides a constant cap on the body of the beer and thick ringlets of lacing. Gorgeous Zwickelbier.
The nose is filled with noble hop aromas, specifically an earthy hay aroma, and there’s a smidge of lemongrass as well as bready malt aromas.
The taste follows to a tee, with the earthy hay flavor providing a little spiciness that is balanced by the white bread and lemongrass flavors.
The mouthfeel is medium and very crisp. What an excellent Zwickelbier this is.
