Handsome clear golden brew with fine-grained foam in the Petrus goblet. Pine aroma with a touch of browned biscuits. Crisp and sudsy mouthfeel. Some sweet malt and a cereal flavor, but a tangy and resiny finish. Rather bitter, piney aftertaste for such a light brew. Makes me think of a rye beer. Overall this is quite quaffable and an interesting style of Lager, like a lighter-weight Pilsner-- but stronger and just as bitter. From the 16 oz can purchased at O'Shea Brewing. Dated 01/12/26.
