Got this one from Kevin. Had this once before, giving a taster a 4 on Aug. 17, 2022. Untappd description was “West Coast IPA with nothing but the best; CITRA!”
Poured a medium yellow clear color with two fingers of white frothy head. Could see plenty of fast-moving bubbles coming up from the bottom and sides of the glass. World-class uneven foamy lacing. Perfect foamy retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Smelled Citra, grapefruit, orange rind, melon, pineapple and citrus zest. About the same from the can. (Smell - 4.00)
Tasted about the same as the nose. In order got Citra, orange rind, grapefruit, melon, pineapple, citrus zest, caramel and hints of spicy pepper. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average-to-lively carbonation. Nice smooth finish. (Feel - 4.00)
This was just a solid West Coast IPA. Outstanding overall. (Overall - 4.00)
