Nice Hazy IPA with a grapefruit tangerine thing going on. ABV of 8%. A slight bit floral.

Pint pour on draught at the brewery. It pours a murky, dirty tangerine color with a large, creamy, milk-white cap and copious lacing with excellent retention. It's a very attractive pour. It smells of lemon, grapefruit, pineapple, onion, and floral hops. The taste is bright with sweet tangerine and passion fruit balanced by tart, slightly sour lemon, lime, and grapefruit over a crackery malt background. It's well-balanced and refreshing. Double Tap has nailed the mouth feel: it's luxuriously thick and creamy with moderate carbonation and the 8.3% ABV gives it good substance. While it's hard to go wrong with a hop bill of Citra and Mosaic, Flood Plain is a very well-made DIPA that has everything I'd want. It's a prime candidate for canning. While Double Tap has just opened its tasting room, it's clear that brewers have been perfecting this ale for awhile. I would drink it any time.
