Pint pour on draught at the brewery. Served on nitro. It's a very attractive pour: A dark cola-mahogany color with a finger cap of creamy, khaki-colored foam and a thick film of lacing. A fragrant nose featuring chocolate, coffee, caramel, and tobacco smoke. Its taste is similar with sweet chocolate, acidic coffee, burnt nuts, caramel, and an intriguing hint of molasses. The mouthfeel is plush and creamy on nitro and the 4.9% ABV allows for easy drinking. Overall, Mr. McFeely's is an excellent Irish Dry Stout; one of the best local ones I've had. The whole exceeds the sum of its parts.
