On draught at the brewery. It resembles iced tea and unfortunately has no head or lacing. Its smell offers typical pumpkin pie spicing: clove, cinnamon, and allspice. Honestly, this one is disappointing. It has the aforementioned pie spicing and I can taste the chai but there is no semblance to a pumpkin ale. I don't taste pumpkin, caramel of toffee. It is crisp, with mild carbonation and the 6.4% ABV gives it good substance. Overall, it isn't a bad beer per se but it's marketed as a pumpkin ale and I'm just not experiencing it. I enjoy so many of Double Tap's offerings. I just think this one is a misfire.
