this is incredible, one of the more interesting beers i had on our trip out west, and also one of the best, this little place is totally killing it, and this is a one of kind blonde stout with coffee, chocolate, honey, fenugreek, and curiously myrrh tree resin, whatever that is, served on nitro. incredibly aromatic, the fenugreek adding a maple element, a floral and rich sweetness from the honey and probably the tree resin, and with a roasted element from the coffee that makes this still smell like a stout. lots of body, enhanced by the nitro, with a real creaminess and some minerals to it, i get the baking type of bitter chocolate, the roast of the java, and a little earthy thing from the grain. a light spiciness, a fancy sweetness from the honey, and a heavy maple thing from the fenugreek, breakfasty for sure, highly aromatic but majorly fragrant, so complex too, i couldnt set the glass down, one of the better blonde stouts i have had, and a really cool mix of flavors. enormously delicious and impressive, perfect with the nitro, and overall just awesome. look out for these guys, all the beer in here was next level!

Snuck over to Pariah for some reviews. Love their place and pretty much everything they make, so was excited to finally review some more stuff. Would be my third time having this one after reviewing Mamba Mode (3.86) and Refill Material (3.85) right before. Had this twice before, both times giving it a 3.75 on Untappd on a taster, commenting something like, “not quite a 4.00). Untappd called it, “Blonde breakfast stout brewed with Coffee, Chocolate, Fenugreek, Honey & Myrrh tree resin.”
Poured an amber-to-copper clear color with 4-to-5 fingers of rocky off-white head. Was dark in there, but just a few bubbles coming up from the glass. Very good spotty, foamy lacing. Rocky, thick perfect foamy retention. (Sight - 4.50)
Smelled black coffee, maple syrup, honey, toffee, dark chocolate and caramel. (Smell - 4.00)
Tasted coffee, light white chocolate, maple syrup, honey, toffee, red apple, plum, light cinnamon, caramel and brown sugar. (Taste - 4.00)
Full body. Creamy-to-sticky texture. Average carbonation. Dry finish. (Feel - 4.00)
Wow. This was better than I thought before. Glad I reviewed this one. (Overall - 4.00)
