Nelson Sauvin focused hazy IPA. Notes of white grape, lime zest, lychee. It’ll put a smile on your face.

16 ounce can poured into a tumbler pint glass.
Canned 3/3/23
L: Hazy with translucent edges, pale gold, 2+ finger white head, persistent foam is dense and sticky, leaves a lot of lace.
S: Opens with large pineapple and stone fruit aromas that quickly fade to weak stone fruit notes.
T: Hoppy, good mango-like stone fruit flavor, moderate bitterness is nicely balanced with the sweetness, hints of flour malt.
F: Light body, mouthfeel is kind of neutral overall, a little bit soft with enough carbonation to build up a small bite at the finish, no prickle.
O: Good hazy, nice hop profile, not quite juicy to my palate but this was canned 61 days ago, since this is brewed locally I will seek a fresh pour, perhaps at the brewery, well done.

I've had this on tap at home for the past couple of years or so. That says most of what I think of it. My and my wife do prefer "Dry land is not a myth" when it's available. While I think Dry land could be the best beer ever made, this one is quite close. Apparently this one is more popular, so it has become a year round brew, even though Dry land has a slightly higher rating here.
Hazy & juicy. Most "hazy" beers seem nearly clear compared to this cloudy stuff.

This is just straight up Nelson goodness. I can see why it may be not to some peoples palate but at least this beer isn't trying to be anything other than what it is and that's a Nelson IPA. Great yeast character boosting the hops and the bartender told me there's some rye in here which is neat. Enjoyed at their Baltimore brewery.

I/m not a professional, however I do not think this is a NE Style IPA. Color is hazy , but atypical of all other NE Styles I have tried. DO NOT let that deter you. Color is great, head is white with decent lacing. Nose is juicy. Taste is citrus, yet dry. Good Beer.

Can dated 6/19/20 into pint glass. Pours a murky yellow-amber with a nice off-white head. Initial impression is orange rind, pineapple, and mango. Hints of grape. Yeast is way in the background - light caramel offsets the hops to some extent. Mouthfeel is smooth, medium-thick and quite refreshing. Finish is strongly citrus, with a slight lingering bitterness. Very easy to drink. Overall, a very enjoyable IPA.

16oz canned 3-23-20. Opened 5-10-20.
1 finger white head, decent retention and settles in as a solid cap. Opaque and orange-yellow IPA. Solid lacing.
Creamy orange and white grape nose. Green sauvignon blanc-ish aromas late. Pineapple. Yeasty edge.
Zesty orange. Mango. Pineapple. Only the lightest effects of Nelson in the flavor...a faint hint of white grape at most.
Smooth, velvety and soft mouthfeel. Full body. Low bitterness. Medium length tangy and off -dry finish.
Good to Very Good.

Love Pariah and was happy to see this one in cans. Gave a taster of this a 4.00 on Untappd back on Feb. 22, 2018, writing, “A new one from Pariah, the only draft beer I haven’t had from them yet. At least outstanding.” Skipping over all the nonsense on the back of the can, it called for Nelson Sauvin, Galaxy and Citra for the hops, and Pilsner, 2-Row, Rye, Wheat and Oats for malts. I’ve been really digging the latest Nelson hops, so was expecting good things from this. Kind of forgot how this was.
Poured a dark golden hazy color with four fingers of rocky white head. Lots of bubbles creeping up along the sides of the glass. Almost perfect layered foamy lacing. Perfect retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Smelled the three mentioned hops in order in Nelson, Galaxy and Citra. Also peach, passion fruit, pineapple, citrus zest, rye and unsweetened iced tea. More of the same from the can. (Smell - 4.00)
Taste followed the nose for the most part. Got Nelson, Galaxy, Citra, Cheerios, peach, lingering rye spice, passion fruit, pineapple, citrus zest, sweet tea and earthy pilsner malt. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average-to-lively carbonation. Dry, earthy finish. (Feel - 4.00)
Maybe even better than I remember it. An outstanding IPA. (Overall - 4.00)

Great presentation. Hazy and juicy. Excellent balance of hop complexity and bitterness with tropical notes and a mild sweetness. Superb.
