Very good but too much carbonization.

Can dated 02-20-2020 into pint glass. Pours a quite hazy straw color with a brief off-white head. Initial impression is grapefruit, orange, and mango, along with a touch of caramel malt. Mouthfeel is soft but not quite pillowy; carbonation is perfect. Finish is slightly bitter but emphatically citrus-y. Very enjoyable - wish I'd bought a few more!

Quite hazy, with plenty of white foam in the tulip. Pleasingly sudsy with a surprisingly light mouthfeel. Hops are listed as Citra, Mosaic, and Columbus. A bit of woody aroma with some peach in the nose. Quite acidic.
Rather murky flavors with the back of the throat gunk. It's a different take on the IPA style, but the grainy, orange-peel taste gets tiresome soon. While I thought the modest IBU rating of 36 was unlikely, it does seem to be less bitter initially but followed a persistent astringency. From the four-pack of 16 oz cans purchased at Barons Market.

Is it beer? Is it Tangerine juice? I can’t tell but I’m going to take their advise and grab a refill lol!

Snuck over to Pariah for some reviews. Love their place and pretty much everything they make, so was excited to finally review some more stuff. Would be my first time having this one after reviewing Mamba Mode (3.86) right before. Untappd description read, “In looking at our beer line up we felt what was missing was an IPA solely designed for San Diego living. With that in mind, the hop to highlight was kinda a no brainer- Citra. We chose to counter balance the Citra with the ever classic Columbus. Wafting with aromas and subsequent flavors of grapefruit, melon, lime, passion fruit and lychee with lurking earthy and pine notes this beer is ideal for a refill...or 2. At a modest, yet respectable, 6.0% and 36 IBU and sporting a soft mouthfeel this “ode to forever summer” is a straight up crusher.”
Poured a pale, semi-hazy color with two fingers of frothy white head. Was dark by the time I had this, but appeared to be a few bubbles coming up from the bottom of the glass. Outstanding spiderweb lacing. Good retention. (Sight - 4.00)
Smelled huge Citra & Columbus as mentioned. Also lime, grapefruit, passion fruit, floral, hints of pepper & pine. (Smell - 4.00)
First thought on the taste was light and refreshing. Specifically got sharp Citra, grapefruit, lime, pine, dish soap, lemon, peppery spice, licorice (?) and Columbus. (Taste - 3.75)
Light body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Clean, crisp finish. (Feel - 4.00)
A very good beer overall, although I think I overrated this slightly. (Overall - 3.75)
