Misc.: Collaboration with Mike Hess Brewing
Snuck over to Pariah for the release of Back to Filter DIPA and decided to stick around and have this one too as it sounded tasty. Apparently I missed the first one in this series, but this one was described as featuring Medusa and Mosaic cryo. No idea what Madusa hops were heading in, but I do love my Mosaic. Also on the board at the brewery it said it was a collab with Mike Hess Brewing.
Poured a gold, semi-clear color with 2-to-3 fingers of frothy off-white head. Could see a few bubbles creeping up from the bottom of the glass. Outstanding spotty lacing. Good retention. (Sight - 4.00)
Smelled floral, mixed berry, light bubblegum, rose petals, guava, mango and papaya. (Smell - 4.00)
Wow. Tasted much better than the nose. Got Mosaic, floral, rose petals, mixed berry, guava, mango, bubblegum and papaya. (Taste - 4.25)
Medium body. Oily texture. Average carbonation. Long, floral finish. (Feel - 4.25)
Really liked this one. Would like to try some more Medusa. (Overall - 4.25)
