For our fall seasonal we wanted to come up with our own Frankenstein’s monster! We present to you this hybrid hazy DIPA packed with coffin fulls of Nelson and Simcoe hops. While we boiled, nearly done evaping, suddenly there came a tapping, as of something gently rapping, rapping at our kettle door. It was buckets filled with Malvasia Bianca & Chardonnay juice of which we promptly added. We get spooky notes of tangerine, grape must and honeysuckle framed by apricot and peach flavors with a moderately dry finish.

Can dated 8/2/20 into pint glass. Pours a quite hazy gold with a brief off-white head. Good lacing. Initial impression is peach, apricot, orange, berries, and a hint of citrus. Mouthfeel is medium (a little thin for the ABV). (Actually, I'd clasify this as a DIPA, considering the mouthfeel and the ABV.) Finish is dry, with very little bitterness. Unusual but not outstanding.

Grabbed a can and a few others while looking for some beer for Jay. I’m a big fan of Pariah beer (even the ones that are practically rated perfect on Beer Advocate - wink, wink). Back of the can for this one read, “For our fall seasonal we wanted to come up with our own Frankenstein’s monster! Poured a medium yellow hazy color with three fingers of frothy white head. Just a few bubbles coming up along the top of the glass. World-class spiderweb foamy lacing. Almost perfect foamy retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Smelled peach, apricot, papaya, melon, tangerine rind, Nelson, white grape, viney berry, herbal, onion, pine and Simcoe on the backend. Much of the same from the can with peach, papaya and tangerine leading the way. (Smell - 4.00)
Tasted even better than the nose. This is interesting. In order got peach, nectarine, apricot, tangerine, bitter orange peel, papaya, Nelson, white grape, viney berry, Simcoe, black pepper, onion, garlic, herbal, hints of pineapple and red grapefruit. (Taste - 4.25)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Abrupt, juicy finish. (Feel - 4.25)
Was back and forth on a few categories and may have slightly overrated this, but this was excellent. (Overall - 4.25)

KIller look, perfect for an NEIPA. Definitely tasting the Nelson hops on this one. Nice full creamy mouthfeel.
