Hazy IPA brewed in collaboration with Gun Hill Brewing and Curtain Up Beer in support of the live performance industry which has been decimated by COVID-19, and to raise funds for The Actors Fund and associated charities to aid workers in the industry suffering from the shutdown. Our version is a hazy IPA hopped in the kettle with Chinook & Citra then dry hopped with Galaxy & Citra. We took the opportunity to use some new (to us) malts and are quite pleased with the results.

Grabbed a can of this and a bunch of other stuff on a recent trip to Windmill Farms. Online description I found was “Hazy IPA brewed in collaboration with Gun Hill Brewing and Curtain Up Beer in support of the live performance industry which has been decimated by COVID-19, and to raise funds for The Actors Fund and associated charities to aid workers in the industry suffering from the shutdown. Our version is a hazy IPA hopped in the kettle with Chinook & Citra then dry hopped with Galaxy & Citra. Poured a light golden hazy color with four fingers of rocky white head. Could see a few bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass. Excellent foamy lacing. Very good retention. (Sight - 4.25)

For hops I got more Galaxy and Citra, but still some Chinook. Also peach skin, passion fruit, grapefruit, pine, white pepper, citrus zest, viney berry and dry grass. A little better out of the can. (Smell - 3.75)

More Chinook than the nose. In order got Galaxy, Chinook, woody pine, white pepper, peach skin, passion fruit, bitter grapefruit peel, viney berry, citrus zest, dry grass and lingering earthy malt. (Taste - 3.75)

Medium body. Oily-to-creamy texture. Lively carbonation. Long, spicy finish. (Feel - 3.75)

This was very good overall. (Overall - 3.75)
