They call this a modern ESB and I can get behind that 100%. Really toasty malts with bright hops at about 50/50 intensity. This is beer beer and that's a wonderful thing. Brings me back. I would gladly enjoy several of this during the course of an evening or a BBQ and have no complaints. Enjoyed at their Baltimore brewery.

Not bad, but really missing any British type of yeast notes in the flavor and aroma. Hard for me to call it an esb because of that. It’s a nice amber ale.
