On draft at Jack's San Ramon, CA location 07/26/10. Served in a pint glass.
Clean light amber in color with a paper thin white head. Decent lacing forms on the sides of the glass but quickly fades.
Grassy bitter hop aroma with some underlying citric and floral notes. Citrus is subdued and consists almost entirely of lemons.
Floral notes come through on the flavor more than I expected while the grassy character is still there on the aftertaste. Malt sweetness has an almost honey-like character to it that balances the beer without washing out the moderate hop flavors. Tastes a little like a cleaned up (on both hops and malt profile) SNPA.
I actually didn't expect much from this beer after trying the same brewers IPA but this actually is pretty enjoyable and very drinkable. Hops shine without being aggressive. Works very well this Summer evening. Possibly my favorite beer from this brewer yet.

Excellent Pale Ale....A nicely crafted brew....We tried it with the Fish & Chips and it was delightful..Very pleasant on the nose, and the mouthfeel was intensely structured. Also try their Penalty Shot Porter...another great brew....Well done brewers!

Medium Gold color. Small white head. Aroma is fruity and a touch sweet. A medium to lighter bodied Pale Ale. Its lightly hopped with medium malts. Lighter taste, good flavor. As with all Jack's beers it is not very hoppy. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
