Pours a chill hazed pale gold producing 3++ fingers of soap bubble frothy, lasting, eggshell head that slowly recedes to a dense, billowy island cap & thick collar leaving clumpy blotches & webs of sticky lace. A nice rise of effervescence. Aroma is tropical fruit, citrus & thin pine hops with hints of caramel & cracker malts, spice & coriander. Thinly lactic with a hint of brine. Taste is lactic fronted with predominantly citrus hops, a little tropical fruit, berry & much less pine than expected, pale & biscuit malt (the caramel of the nose is missing or overwhelmed), hints of brine & coriander. Finishes with a dry, salty grapefruit & pale malt predominance that riders over into the short-lived astringent aftertaste. Medium bodied with moderate-high carbonation, tongue crawling with a minor but nice prickliness in a drawing & drying aftertaste. A unique & wild hybrid that does not deliver in the mouth what the nose promises.

12 oz. Can

Pours a nice yellow color, nice carbonation, with a pretty nice small off-white head, which leaves some sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, yeasty, with some citrus. The taste is hoppy, malty, yeasty, citrusy. Medium body, with a nice dry/bitter finish. Overall, a pretty tasty brew.

Pale yellow, light and clear appearance. The smell is gorgeous. Big hop aroma. Danky, fresh and green with lots of fruit. The taste is also really great. Appeals to hop heads with a nice fruity hoppiness up front, but the flavor is overall light with the sourness and salinity on the back end. Refreshing and you want another and another and another sip. The only knock is MAYBE a bit too much salt. Maybe. The feel is light and summery (unfortunately it is a fall seasonal). Surprised it is at 5.5%, would not have been surprised if it was more like 4.5%. Overall I REALLY enjoy this.
