A crisp, malt forward Czech dark lager offering notes of toasted caramel and Bohemian meadows with a smooth finish.

This one poured very lively out of the can, but once the head settled, it's a very good example of the style.
A little more hops than expected, but still within reason.
A fine Czech style Dark Lager.

Sampling a slightly chillier than cellar temp 16 oz can poured into my .5L dimple mug. My can says 5.9% abv not the 6.1% here on BA. not a big difference. Beer was part of a Christmas exchange with my brothers in PA.
The beer pours a rich mahogany color with some light garnet hues on the edges. A slightly frothy beige head of 2 cm foams up from the pour. This foam fades to a sturdy edging soon after the pour.
Aroma is pretty mild for the beer, but I get some toasted dark bread, a little bit of a nutty note and some light toffee.
First sip reveals a light body and smooth texture with very fine, tingly carbonation. beer drinks very easy.
Flavor is briefly toffee and then lots of toasted dark bread and roast malt. The roast is almost charred on the finish with a little bite. but I also get some very dark chocolate note on the finish and this actually lingers after each swallow. very nice flavor profile.
never any booze hints on this beer. Quite a nice example for the style, glad to have sampled this beer.

Cola brown appearance.
Around a medium body with the carbonation being q little light.
Aroma is malt, roasted malt, caramel, sweet dark bread.
Taste is roasted malt, almost a bit dry despite it having a mild sweetness.
Overall its a really decent attempt at the style, very enjoyable and would get it again

Good. Caramel and bit of roasty notes with a slight tang from the hops. Feel is a tad undercarbonated, but that is my only gripe with this beer. Otherwise, well done.
