Enjoying a serving in a dimpled mug at the Whaley Farm brewery taproom on 5-12-23 for $6.00.
Beer was served with a beautiful brown head that had some nice hang time.
Nose was very nice with notes of roast and chocolate.
Taste was a modestly roasted malt base emitting notes of chocolate and balanced very well by the hop addition.
Mouthfeel was light bodied but very smooth with each sip.
Overall a very nice representation of the style! Even though i was so full being my third serving of the afternoon it was a pleasure to have!
