Oh how i love Cask beers! Was able to enjoy an Imperial Pint of this wonderful ESB while visiting the taproom 5-12-23 for $6.00 which is such a screaming deal!
Beer was served a deep reddish-brown with an awesome off-white head.
Nose was very nice with notes of nutty citrus front and center.
Taste was excellent with the light but substantially flavorful nutty and sweet notes of caramel malts that were so nicely balanced by notes of citrus with an underlying current of light bitterness.
Mouthfeel was so soft and smooth as i could imagine myself enjoying this along the Thames or Burton-on-Trent.
Overall so glad to be able to have an ESB on cask!
