The VALAISANNE Triple Dry Hopped Lager is always a feast for the eyes with its bright golden color and a magnificent head of foam. Thanks to the traditional brewing process and the additional gift of the classic aroma hops Schlitzer Select, Saazer and Bravo during storage, a spicy and slightly fruity hop flower unfolds. The flavors harmonize perfectly with the mild taste of the lager. Drinking reveals a pleasant mouthfeel, which is rounded off by a fine bitterness.

From the tap, drank at the bar in Hotel Montbrilliant where I stayed over-looking the Geneva train station.
A nice lunch lager. It actually Looks great in Valaisanne's tulip with the midday sun of early spring glistening thru the glass showing off its bubbles feeding the liveliness of the foam. Smells, Tastes and Feel are average for the style.... but again, this is a lunch lager. I had it with a cheese plate and was a good compliment to the variety of the hard, soft and smelly cheeses.
I went on Valaissanne's website and they have an English button, so I can be reasonably impressed without having to do lots of work translating or wondering. The key is they are working on the whole culinary aspect. they brew for their restaurant which seems to be sophisticated with a menu that changes weekly. So for that integration and living the ideal life in the highlands, I give them good Overall Hugs.
