Cask conditioned hand pulled at Cask bar in the Manchester City Centre
pours a clear golden coloured body with thick white head
Aroma is citrus and the flavour was some fruit and then a bitter finish

Anyone may arguably want to change how I styled Perry Street Pale that I added just now.
It could be an English Pale Ale, but its ABV is under 4. UnTappd styled it as an APA; but I don't taste that, far fewer hops.
So I went with English Mild because it was on the cask and this style has fallen from favour and deserves more love.
Perry Street Pale drawn from the cask at Stratford's Tap East Looks only slightly more appetising than the average cask ale. Big bubbles and the foam didn't persist until the end. Smells get rated the same, there is little distinctive in my nose. Tastes are well-balanced and the hops are mild and peek in-and-out in the finish and do not assert themselves. Medium-mouthed and soft.
My first from Iron Pier, I went on their website and see they have a taproom and nearby community pub in Gravesend. While that is pretty good progress for an eight year old and UnTappd has 155 of their brews listed, they do not strike me as much more than one more piece in the puzzle of the staying power of London's micro-revolution. So, I just give good Overall Hugs to Iron Pier.
