16oz can served in a nonic pint glass. Canned 09/16/25.
Pours dark reddish brown, big fluffy head settling slowly into a thick puffy layer. Smell is pine bitter and toffee, clear hint of smoke.
Taste is moderate sweet, again toffee, again nuts but maybe heavily roasted. Woody astringence, earthy bitterness.
Mouthfeel is light, smooth, clean. Very nice beer.

This is the darkest red ever. Quite attractive with the beige foam in the appropriate unholy grail. Nothing sweet about it, but not hopped to death either. It's quite pleasant sipping with an earthy and grainy taste, and smooth finish. Some herbal hoppy notes and a bit of astringency in the aftertaste, and then the bitterness finally emerges. It's very dry and green tasting. Overall this would benefit from some friendly malt and less stemmy taste. But it's really only worth trying for the appearance and the label. From the 16 oz can with a nice big 04/01/25 date stamp.

Amber/brown with a nice tan/light brown head. Big malty aroma and flavor with nutty, bready and caramel notes. Nice balance with little to no bitterness but not very sweet. Medium bodied.

16oz can from Tavour. Dark amber, opaque pour, sizeable off-white foamy head. Malty aroma, leathery, tannic. Taste is malty, dry, touch of sweetness leading up to a mildly bitter finish.
