Pale and Pilsner malt create a crackery malt base that will please all palates. Small late boil and whirlpool additions of Tettnang give a light floral and spicy flavor and aroma. Great for sitting on the patio mid-summer but also perfect for a light session that doesn’t overwhelm your senses.

16oz can. No dating information found.
Clear, pale gold colored body. Brief lasting off white, bubbly head, which leaves no cap and an incomplete ring. No lacing.
Aroma of toasted malts, with a little funk and smells of coriander and stone fruit.
Taste is sweet, with a little funk, and flavors of toasted malt, caramel, coriander, and apricot.
Medium mouthfeel, with a smooth texture. Dry finish. Lower carbonation level.
Adequate for style but ends up sweet and tasting like liquid caramel.

Clear pale golden color with a very respectable and lasting white head with some decent lacing.
The aroma is biscuits and crackers, citrus, hints of coriander and cloves.
The taste also starts with biscuity malt, coriander, cloves, lemon, tangerine and apricot. The finish is dry with some grassy notes, mild bitterness.
The body is light, very good carbonation, crisp and very drinkable. Altogether, this is a very pleasant brew, tasty and refreshing, nice balance. It should work well with most lighter fare and should be a good summer cooler, well done.

I had this beer from tap at a bbq place in Kansas City, MO. Bright clear yellow color with good head and lacing. Smell and taste of biscuits, lemon and white pepper, but mild and not distinctive. Feel was good, and overall the beer is good but moderate for a saison.

On draft at Taps on Main. Poured a slightly cloudy, golden orange color with a good-sized, off-white head of fluffy foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of caramel, grains, bread crust and toffee. Sweet bready/biscuity taste with yeastiness and some citrus.

Served on tap on a snifter
Appearance – The beer is served a clear golden color with a big head of puffy white foam. The head has a fantastic level of retention, fading and leaving a good level of streaky lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is heaviest of a biscuit and cracker malt mixed with lots of yeast and spice smells of coriander and clove. Along with these smells comes touches of orange and lemon citrus as well as a bit of white peppercorn. I get hints of banana and grain as well as a bit of apricot, overall producing a rather inviting smell.
Taste – The taste begins with a nice crisp cracker and biscuit malt flavor that is paired with spice flavors of clove and coriander. The citrus and banana are there upfront, mixing with some peach and apricot that begin to develop along the way. Some very light grassiness and some pepper also develop along with the way, all with a yeastiness and some light buttery flavors developing as well. Toward the end, the spice seems to increase a bit, along with some of the sweeter flavors, all while the malt drops out more. The effect of these changes is to produce a very pleasant, crisp and flavorful taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is very light and crisp with a carbonation level that is high. Fantastic for the style and makes for a super crisp and clean sipper.
Overall – A very nice and clean, but highly flavorful saison. Well done overall.
