A belgian-style Saison brewed with 5 different malt varieties, noble hops, cardamon seeds, chamomille, corriander, and tangerine peels. The beer is golden with a wonderful spiced charchter due to the "controlled sponateneous fermentation" with real farmhouse saison yeast.

On tap in the Dogfish Head brewpub, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Brewed in house, we were told that beers are field-tested and previewed here.

This was poured into a narrow flute, golden color like a tripel. Sticky lacing as it was drunk.

Fruity Belgian yeast aromas with pronounced aroma that I think is best described as band-aids...although not as unpleasant as that sounds.

The crisp slightly tart flavors carry through with the band-aid theme predominating. On the sweet side. A nice Belgian-style brew but perhaps not totally successful as one note dominates what should be a bit more mutlifaceted and complex. Good effort.
