Poured out as a nice red color with a thin white head. The smell of the beer had a pretty good sour funkiness to it which reminded me of some of the more traditional sours from Belgium. The taste of the beer had a definite sour kick that makes you pucker for the first several sips. The feel of the beer is pretty good. Overall I was actually quite impressed with this beer.

Picked up a bottle from their EmPOURrium in Rehobeth. This is an interesting sour to say the least.

Look: very fizzy, as expected from the style, but also a deep red, likely owing to the currants and hibiscus.

Smell: pretty subdued, but that's also expected from the style

Taste: intensely sour, fruity, and slightly woody. Also heavy on the currants, which I'm not totally a fan of. Refreshing and face puckering at first, but the aftertaste is pretty weird and hard to nail, and almost unpleasant. Funky/leathery perhaps?

Feel: high carbonation lends to it being refreshing, but not much to comment on other than that

Overall: Worth trying if you're really into sours. Maybe I just don't have the taste for it yet, but I wouldn't call it a favorite. I like how sour it is, but the funkiness doesn't do it for me.

Pours a very nice rose color with a slight head and lacing
Aroma has generous tart currants and hibiscus hints
The taste follows the nose with a very well balanced and very pleasant tart currant and hibiscus flavor
A light bodied well carbonated crisp beer
A great Wild Ale
